What you’ll do and why it’s career-defining
You will be the first dedicated Product Marketing leader and work directly with the CEO and Chief of Staff. You will own how our technology is understood, adopted, and evangelized. Crafting the category, shaping our narrative, and enabling customers and community to rally around it. You will translate a highly technical product into market-defining stories and GTM motions, driving both awareness and adoption.
What You’ll Own
- Positioning & Messaging: Create differentiated, compelling narratives that resonate with developers, infra leaders, and executives.
- Category Creation: Define the “unikernel cloud” category, building thought leadership and shaping how the market understands our space.
- Launches & Go-to-Market: Lead product launches end-to-end, from messaging to sales enablement to campaign orchestration.
- Sales & Developer Enablement: Build crisp pitch decks (content only, you’ll have a designer), competitive battlecards, demo flows, and customer-facing collateral that accelerate adoption.
- Market Intelligence: Own competitive analysis, win/loss insights, and customer research to shape strategy and keep us ahead.
- Content & Evangelism: Partner with founders, engineers, and community to create high-signal content—blog posts, talks, whitepapers—that influence buyers and the ecosystem.
What We’re Looking For
- Product Marketing Mastery: Proven track record of taking complex technical products to market with crisp positioning and high-impact launches.
- Storytelling Ability: Can distill deep infra/AI concepts into simple, powerful narratives that inspire developers and persuade execs.
- Category Thinking: Experience building or scaling a new category, not just marketing within an existing one.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Comfortable working tightly with founders, engineering, sales, and community teams.
- Tooling & Data Skills: Proficiency with product marketing, CRM, and analytics stacks (HubSpot, Amplemarket, Gong, Notion, etc.) and the curiosity to experiment
- Startup DNA: Thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Technical Chops: You don’t need to code, but you can read docs, talk fluently to infra engineers, and love getting close to the product.
