Job Summary

The Global Head of Sales Enablement and Readiness will lead and unify all Sales Enablement functions within Sales & Account Management (SAM) at LSEG, ensuring colleagues are equipped to drive client engagement and revenue growth. This senior leadership role oversees strategic enablement initiatives including proposition support, sales effectiveness, onboarding, learning, and activation events. The role focuses on implementing a sales enablement framework for D&A, FTSE Russell & Risk Intelligence businesses, leading strategic pursuits, driving continuous improvement in sales methodology, and managing SAM training programs and activation events globally to enhance colleague effectiveness.

Must Have

Job Description

The Global Head of Sales Enablement and Readiness will lead and unify all Sales Enablement functions within Sales & Account Management (SAM), ensuring colleagues are fully equipped to drive client engagement and revenue growth.

This role oversees strategic enablement initiatives - including proposition support, sales effectiveness, onboarding, learning, and activation events—while embedding a culture of continuous improvement and fostering alignment across key LSEG stakeholders.

Role Summary:

  • The role reports to the Global Head of Sales Performance and Enablement
  • As a senior leader, you will manage a team of senior professionals focused on a breadth of core deliverables, ensuring strategic alignment, and driving performance across the sales lifecycle.
  • Proposition enablement – Enable SAM to broaden client conversations and drive revenue growth through knowledge, skills and resources. Ensure the sales enablement framework is implemented for all upgrades, launches, enhancements and EOLs therefore creating a repeatable & consistent experience for SAM. Working alongside Proposition teams, Product strategy, Marketing, and with the Go To Market Communities team.
  • Strategic Pursuits & Proposals – lead on pursuit of largest, strategically complex proposals working across SAM teams; proactively drive proposal excellence toolkits for SAM teams to use across all opportunities.
  • Sales Effectiveness – embed a continuous improvement culture across SAM, driving updates and adoption of the Sales Methodology.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of SAM’s strategic learning agenda, including onboarding (RAMP), leadership development (RISE), and lifecycle-based enablement incorporating proposition-specific learning
  • Deliver key strategic Sales activation events and activities, including annual Sales launch global events
  • Lead SAM engagement across LSEG teams: Facing into key strategic initiatives and identifying improvement opportunities across the group

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the Proposition enablement framework for SAM, primary focus on D&A, FTSE Russell & Risk Intelligence businesses
  • Support SAM teams by leading on Large deals multi-product/partner deals, create and maintain pursuit and proposal centre of excellence guidance for all SAM teams
  • Deliver SAM specific activation events, including annual Sales summit across global locations.
  • Identify and deliver critical improvement initiatives to drive SAM colleague effectiveness, reducing admin time / non-revenue activities – collaborating in partnership across other LSEG Divisions including, Sales Operations; Commercial Operations, Legal, Billing and Order Management
  • Manage delivery of suite of SAM training programmes
  • Ensuring clear business readiness plan in place for all major SAM-impacting programmes

What you’ll bring:
