Job Summary

Gigamon is seeking a Sr. Manager, Professional Services for the US Public Sector and Service Provider segment. This role involves leading a team to deliver post-sales technical and advisory services, overseeing service delivery from scoping to execution, and developing new service offerings. The manager will build strong customer relationships, expand the professional services portfolio, and ensure high-quality outcomes, enabling customers to achieve deep observability and security objectives within their hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
  • At least ten years of experience in network visibility, information security, cybersecurity, incident response, or enterprise risk management
  • Six years in staff management
  • Demonstrated expertise in network visibility, cybersecurity operations, emerging security technologies, and enterprise risk management
  • Successfully managed large-scale projects in information security, technology risk management, or cyber-risk management
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior leadership, customers, and partners
  • Produce clear, concise, and accurate technical deliverables and business communications
  • Work effectively with global, virtual teams and diverse stakeholders
  • Eligible for a U.S. security clearance

As the Sr. Manager, Professional Services (US Public Sector and Service Provider), you will lead a team delivering post-sales technical and advisory services to our public sector and service provider customers. You will oversee all aspects of service delivery, drive the development of new service offerings, and ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes. This role is critical in building trusted customer relationships, expanding our professional services portfolio, and enabling customers to achieve deep observability and security objectives.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee end-to-end service delivery, including scoping, proposal generation, execution, and final deliverables for public sector and service provider customers.
  • Manage and mentor a team of direct employees and contractors, ensuring skill development and high performance.
  • Build and enhance business processes and methodologies to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and expand professional services offerings aligned with Gigamon’s business objectives, with a focus on the US Public Sector.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams to position Gigamon as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for additional services within the public sector portfolio.
  • Collaborate with trusted partners to support and scale service delivery.
  • Ensure financial planning and management of professional services engagements.

What you’ve done

  • Earned a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or have equivalent work experience.
  • Accumulated at least ten years of experience in network visibility, information security, cybersecurity, incident response, or enterprise risk management, including six years in staff management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in network visibility, cybersecurity operations, emerging security technologies, and enterprise risk management.
  • Successfully managed large-scale projects in information security, technology risk management, or cyber-risk management; experience in incident response or threat hunting is a plus.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior leadership, customers, and partners.
  • Produced clear, concise, and accurate technical deliverables and business communications.
  • Worked effectively with global, virtual teams and diverse stakeholders.
  • Eligible for a U.S. security clearance.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $164,000 to $205,000, with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to the terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
