Join the Health Software team to contribute to health research tools and ecosystem. This role involves designing, implementing, and delivering scalable and secure full-stack web applications, ensuring participant data safety and privacy. Must Have
- Architect, design, and develop scalable and maintainable full-stack web applications
- Participate in projects with multiple engineers to deliver new features from concept to production
- Clearly communicate with the team, managers, and cross-functional partners
- Lead and participate in technical design reviews, ensuring system design aligns with business objectives, engineering best practices, and security requirements
- Design and implement test automation to validate system behavior and prevent regressions
- Investigate and debug production applications and systems
- Monitor system health with metrics and logs; set up alerts and dashboards
- 3+ years of experience designing and building full stack web applications
- Experience developing RESTful APIs
- Experience designing responsive frontend applications with modern JavaScript frameworks, with a good foundation in UI/UX design principles
- Record of producing testable, high quality software
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- BS Computer Science or equivalent experience

- Experience with public cloud infrastructure and security concepts
- Experience developing scalable backend services
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with wellness or medical concepts, health research, and/or data governance concepts

We are seeking an energetic and self-driven software engineer to help design, implement, and deliver highly scalable and secure health research tools. As a member of our fast-paced group in Health, you will have the unique and rewarding opportunity to work cross functionally with various stakeholders. In addition to using technical knowledge to drive features and improvements, you must be comfortable with rapidly evolving requirements and have excellent interpersonal skills. Success depends on working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $210,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Employees also have the opportunity to become a shareholder through participation in discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
