Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist manages a broad range of HR tasks including payroll, benefits, and general HR duties. They guide employees and managers on work-related issues, conduct exit interviews, and provide feedback. This role also supports compensation goals, workforce planning, performance management, and personnel policies, requiring creative problem-solving and strong HR knowledge.
Must Have:
  • Apply HR knowledge to creatively resolve issues.
  • Contribute to the development of organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Investigate employee complaints.
  • Coordinate employee development plans and the performance management process.
  • Remain current on employment laws and trending HR topics.
  • Manage moderately to complex scoped problems or special projects.
  • Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for problem-solving.
  • Possess strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion effectively.
  • Proficiently use HRIS systems and other HR software.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience within human resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies HR knowledge to creatively resolve a broad spectrum of issues both internal and external.
  • Contributes to the development of organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Suggests strategies for improving employee engagement.
  • Investigates employee complaints.
  • Coordinates employee development plans and the performance management process.
  • Remains current on employment laws and trending HR topics.
  • Manages moderately to complex scoped problems or special projects, requiring analysis of various factors and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exercises sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for problem-solving.
  • Establishes networks with senior internal and external personnel, as necessary.

  • Possesses a strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Handles confidential information with discretion effectively.

Education and Experience:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience within human resources.

Salary Range

$88,800 - $115,200.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
