Reporting directly to the Business Unit Director and with a functional reporting to HR Group, you will oversee the comprehensive HR lifecycle for our North America operations, delivering all HR & compliance activities to support professionals across multiple locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
• Develop HR strategy aligned with business objectives
• Define strategic HR plans supporting current and future needs
• Build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships and establish key HR metrics for executive decision-making
Operations & Talent Management
• Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and workplace issues
• Coordinate recruitment processes and talent acquisition strategies
• Drive engagement, development, and retention initiatives
• Oversee performance management systems and training programs
Compliance & Benefits
• Ensure full legal compliance with US/Mexico employment laws
• Stay current with federal, state and local employment laws
• Coordinate US payroll compliance and ensure successful internal and external audits
• Maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs
• Manage OSHA requirements
Team Leadership
• Lead and develop team of 3+ HR professionals
• Provide guidance on complex HR matters and escalated issues
Experience: 5-15 years progressive HR experience, preferably in multinational corporations with multi-state operations
Core Skills:
• Deep US labor law knowledge. Knowledge of Mexico labor law will be a plus.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills
• Change management and goal-oriented mindset
• HRIS systems and HR analytics proficiency
Education:
• Required: Bachelor's in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• Preferred: Master's/MBA + HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
