This HSE Officer - Welfare role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focuses on ensuring employee health, safety, and well-being. Must Have

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and welfare programs.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
  • Design and deliver HSE training programs.
  • Manage occupational health initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian labor laws and HSE regulations.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
  • Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
  • NEBOSH certification or equivalent HSE qualification.
  • Valid First Aid certification.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in an HSE role.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HSE management systems and relevant software tools.
  • Experience in developing and implementing employee welfare programs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated HSE Officer - Welfare to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees while promoting a positive work environment.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and welfare programs
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations
  • Design and deliver HSE training programs to enhance employee awareness and compliance
  • Manage occupational health initiatives, including health screenings and wellness programs
  • Collaborate with management to create and maintain a culture of safety and well-being
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian labor laws and HSE regulations
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans
  • Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics, preparing reports for management
  • Coordinate with external agencies and stakeholders on HSE matters
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in employee welfare

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • NEBOSH certification or equivalent HSE qualification
  • Valid First Aid certification
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably with a focus on employee welfare
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in Saudi Arabia
  • Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insightful reports
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proficiency in HSE management systems and relevant software tools
  • Experience in developing and implementing employee welfare programs
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirable
