Manager Accounting Services

KPMG Netherlands, part of the global KPMG network, is a leader in Audit, Tax, and Advisory. As Manager Accounting Services, you will play a key role in strengthening the general ledger function within Finance Support Services. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial figures, leading the closing process, and strengthening internal controls. You will also actively participate in monthly and annual closings, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to SAP S/4HANA implementation and international standardization projects.

Must Have

• Lead and actively participate within the GL Accounting team
• Ensure correct and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Implement SAP S/4HANA and stimulate process automation
• Improve data quality and achieve "First Time Right Accounting"
• Align processes and standards with international colleagues within the IVC program
• WO or HBO degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
• Minimum 7 years relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of IFRS and international accounting standards
• Fluent in Dutch and English

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial figures, leading the closing process, and strengthening internal controls. In addition, you are a working foreman/woman and actively involved in monthly and annual closings. You work closely with stakeholders within Finance, Data & Reporting, and CSO, and contribute to the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and international standardization projects.

Job Requirements

• WO or HBO degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
• Minimum 7 years relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of IFRS and international accounting standards
• Fluent in Dutch and English; German is a plus

Additional Information

• Gross monthly salary between € 4,200 and € 6,800 depending on your work experience, variable performance bonus, a fixed expense allowance, and a fixed home office allowance per worked day.
