Job Description

As an Inside Sales Technician, your mission is to be the primary contact for our professional clients, assisting them with their spare parts needs. You will combine your technical expertise in tailgate parts with excellent advisory and customer relationship skills to finalize sales and build customer loyalty. You will also actively participate in developing the company's brand image.
Must have:
  • Conclude sales to contribute to revenue growth.
  • Prepare quotes.
  • Conduct prospecting and follow-up actions by phone.
  • Ensure quality phone reception and adapt communication.
  • Provide technical solutions to clients or direct to experts.
  • Promote TVH's service and commercial commitment.
  • Participate in updating customer databases.
  • Contribute to improving product databases.
Good to have:
  • Basic knowledge in electronics, hydraulics, or mechanics and the ability to read a plan.

Role and Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales Technician, your mission is to be the primary contact for our professional clients, assisting them with their spare parts needs. You will combine your technical expertise in tailgate parts with excellent advisory and customer relationship skills to finalize sales and build customer loyalty. You will also actively participate in developing the company's brand image.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Commercial Development and Sales

  • Conclude sales to contribute to revenue growth. You will notably manage incoming calls, respond to customer requests, and leverage information from their customer file to offer tailored solutions.
  • Prepare quotes.
  • Conduct prospecting and follow-up actions by contacting prospects and customers with unconfirmed quotes by phone.

Customer Relationship and Expertise

  • Ensure quality phone reception and adapt your communication to your interlocutor, whether it's technical popularization or in-depth expertise.
  • Provide technical solutions to customers thanks to excellent product and range knowledge, or direct them to an expert if necessary.
  • Promote TVH's service and commercial commitment.

Information Management

  • Participate in updating customer databases by adding relevant information to refine the commercial approach.
  • Contribute to improving product databases by reporting necessary corrections to ensure the reliability of our online catalogs.

Your Profile

To succeed in this position, you have an excellent sense of sales and communication. You are comfortable on the phone and able to manage varied conversations, from simple information requests to handling more complex situations.

The key skills sought are:

  • Solid foundations in commercial practices and sales techniques, especially by phone.
  • Oral fluency and excellent listening skills.
  • Basic knowledge in electronics, hydraulics, or mechanics and the ability to read a plan would be a real plus.
  • A service-oriented mindset and strong customer focus.
