Teamleader Automation Operations

Your tasks and responsibilities

You are responsible for the organization and follow-up of the team of problem solvers that provides daily operational support to the automated processes (conveyor, kardex, cranes, pneumatic tube system, shuttles, air conditioning, alarm systems, ...).

Your tasks include:

• You draw up the team's work schedule, based on the maintenance plan and priorities.
• You monitor the stock of spare parts so that the team can carry out the planned repairs.
• You coordinate specific interventions.
• You analyze the results of frequently occurring interventions and take action where necessary.
• You coordinate the necessary actions in the event of acute technical operational malfunctions, downtimes or problems and act as the central point of contact. Afterwards, you report on the cause and solutions of the malfunction and take the necessary actions to avoid future problems.
• You ensure good communication with those responsible in logistics about the progress and status of problems.
• You are responsible for drawing up work procedures and regulations.
• You coach, motivate and develop employees so that they optimally utilize their competencies and skills.
• If necessary, you work together with the team.

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (automation, electromechanics, ...), or equivalent through experience.
• You have strong leadership skills, you can easily interact with employees and manage them appropriately.
• You are communicative, stress-resistant and flexible.
• You have strong problem-solving skills.
• You have a sense of responsibility and initiative and an eye for safety, order and cleanliness.
• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and can express yourself fluently in French and English.
• You are flexible with regard to the team's schedule and on-call duty (7:30 AM - 9:00 PM).
• You work in a 2-shift system with flexible hours.
