Job Description

As an Intermediate 3D Modeler, you'll be part of a creative team, crafting 3D assets for various projects. Your role involves modeling, texturing, and environment creation, ensuring high-quality output within tight deadlines. Strong proficiency in Maya and Zbrush is essential. You'll collaborate with fellow modelers, contribute to the team's knowledge base, and mentor junior artists. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, and animation, along with experience in art production pipelines. You'll be responsible for creating characters, sets, props, and vehicles based on provided concepts and designs. You'll apply materials and textures to geometry, adhering to the design guidelines. Collaborating with the modeling team to meet technical requirements is crucial. You'll also share new tools and techniques with team members and act as a mentor for junior modelers.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages, shade materials, and in-game asset management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff
Must Have:
  • 3+ years of 3D modeling experience
  • Excellent organization and management skills
  • Proficiency in Zbrush, Maya, Unreal Engine, and Substance Painter
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of art processes and production pipelines

3D Modeler works within a team of artist to create 3D assets which includes modeling, environment modeling and texturing; and is a passionate and dedicated Modeler who dictates high proficiency in Maya and Zbrush. A 3D modeler is able to maintain and manage a high level of quality while working in a rapid and timely manner environment; has advanced/intermediate modeling texturing, and animating experience in addition to knowledge of art processes and production pipeline.

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Create characters, sets, props, and vehicles base on concept and designs.
  • Create 3D models as required by superior within timely manner.
  • Apply material and texture on geometry based on the design.
  • Collaborate with the modeling team to create a model that meets technical needs.
  • Communicate new tools and techniques to teammates of the department.
  • Act as a mentor to assist junior modelers which assigned by lead and senior modelers.
  • Meet up to Lemon Sky quality and standards.
  • Ad Hoc task as per instructed by superior.

 

Job Requirements:


  • Minimum three (3) years of 3D modeling experience
  • Excellent organizational and management skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently with various personalities and different work styles;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team;
  • High level of initiative, flexibility and confidence;
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at a time while remaining efficient and mindful of strict deadlines in a high pressure environment;
  • Must have a strong understanding with Zbrush, Maya, Unreal Engine and Substance Painter.
