The Art Director will define graphic needs for projects, guiding the post-production team to meet audiovisual expectations. This role involves developing creative concepts, visually stunning designs, and exceptional brand experiences. Strong communication, problem-solving, and self-management are essential, along with staying updated on design trends.

  • Ensuring proper taxonomy for all the assets.
Must Have:
  • Interpreting briefs and requirements to deliver creative ideas and visuals aligned to a creative strategy.
  • Participating in all phases of creative work, from concept through production and final hand-off.
  • Active participation in creative thinking during brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and project kick-off meetings.
  • Producing sketches, storyboards, roughs, and mockups to visualize ideas.
  • Proven working experience as Art Director for at least 1 year.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Portfolio of professional projects showing graphic design and conceptualization skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Firefly, Figma, Office Suite, Keynote.

In Bogotá – Colombia, we are looking for a person for the position of Art Director, with more than 3 years of experience in the role, their mission will focus on understanding and defining the graphic needs of the different assigned projects, in order to trace the creative path that the post-production team should take and thus achieve the audiovisual expectations that the project, client and/or market demands.

They thrive in collaborative environments as part of their role in ideas development. Great graphic design skills and creative thinking are essential. Collaborating closely with creative leads and executive teams, they will play an important role in driving business growth through powerful visuals and impactful messaging.

The Art Director supports a culture of creativity, innovation, and learning within the design and art direction team. Strong communication, problem-solving, and self-management skills are essential, as is keeping abreast of design trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Interpreting briefs and requirements to deliver creative ideas and visuals aligned to a creative strategy, raising the bar on creativity using storytelling to drive action.
  • Participate in all phases of creative work, from concept through production and final hand-off.
  • Active participation in creative thinking during brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and project kick-off meetings.
  • Produce sketches, storyboards, roughs, and mockups to visualize ideas.
  • Be a team player with strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Be able to present designs and sell solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Being at the top of the trends to break the boundaries of conceptual and technical skills.
  • Work closely with asset management team/ asset management of incoming and outgoing deliveries (master assets, open files, adapts, etc.).
  • Ensure proper taxonomy for all the assets.

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as Art Director for at least 1 year.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop fresh and effective ideas.
  • Must have a portfolio of professional projects that shows graphic design and conceptualization skills.
  • Team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices.
  • Tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Firefly, Figma, Office Suite, Keynote.
