Intern, Laboratory

Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM), a pioneer in Malaysia's flour milling industry since 1961, is seeking a Laboratory Intern. This role offers an introduction to feed processes, including raw material, processing, and testing. The intern will learn and apply feed process SOPs, conduct proximate and mineral testing, and gain basic understanding of microbe and mycotoxin testing. Responsibilities also include accurate record-keeping, proper lab waste disposal, and maintaining laboratory cleanliness. MFM is a leading regional player in flour milling and poultry integration, committed to sustainable development and innovation.

Must Have

• Introduction to feed process (Raw material, Process & Testing)
• Understanding the feed process SOP
• Conduct proximate and mineral testing on feed samples
• Basic Understanding of microbe and mycotoxin testing
• Record and enter test results accurately into the laboratory test
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of lab waste according to safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and work areas
• Diploma or degree in Food science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology or related

Job Description

Qualifications

• This position is based in Pasir Gudang.
