Job Description

The Internal Channel Account Manager (ICAM) is responsible for providing Partner based support to the Channel Account Managers (CAMs), National Account Managers (NAMS), and Gigamon Sellers. This role involves being an expert on deal registration processes, supporting partners with portal questions and spiff eligibility, completing new account forms, tracking and promoting programs, ensuring partner certifications, assisting with new partner onboarding, preparing presentations and reports, and providing backup support for CAMs and NAMs. Additionally, the role includes maternity leave coverage for the Central Region, focusing on day-to-day relationship management with Focus Partners, driving deal registration and pipeline initiatives, managing partner pipeline, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, communicating product launches, and working with the Distribution team for efficient order processing.
Must have:
  • Be the expert on deal registration processes/rules and answer questions for internal people and partners.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and training for new and existing channel and sales personnel.
  • Support Partners and answer questions around the partner portal, claiming spiffs, and other partner facing functions.
  • Proactively track partner spiff eligibility and ensure they are alerted if spiffs are expiring.
  • Complete New Account forms for Partner leads for accounts not in SFDC.
  • Track and promote programs like the current Margin Enhancement Program with Partners.
  • Work with CAMs and NAMs to ensure partner certifications are up to date and partners are in compliance.
  • Help with new partner onboarding.
  • Prepares presentations, trackers, and reports.
  • Completes required training and development objectives.
  • Provide “go-to” backup support when CAMs and NAMs are out of office.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day relationship management of Focus Partners (Maternity Leave Coverage for Central Region).
  • Drive deal registration and pipeline initiatives with the regional team, Field Marketer and partners.
  • Execute marketing activities and MDF budget in coordination with Field Marketing Manager.
  • Manage partner pipeline for New, Existing and HTL orders ensuring escalation paths with regional leadership.
  • Maintain productive, professional, relationships with key stakeholder personnel within Top Focus Partners.
  • Foster multi-level relationships between partners and Gigamon regional teams.
  • Communicate product launches and promotions; drive partner participation in events.
  • Works closely with Distribution team to ensure efficient order processing.

What you’ll do:

  • Be the expert on the deal registration processes/rules and answer questions for internal people and partners. Provide ongoing guidance and training for new and existing channel and sales personnel.
  • Support Partners and answer questions around the partner portal, claiming spiffs, and other partner facing functions.
  • Proactively track partner spiff eligibility and ensure they are alerted if spiffs are expiring.

  • Help with new partner onboarding.
  • Prepares presentations, trackers, and reports.
  • Completes required training and development objectives.
  • Provide “go-to” backup support when CAMs and NAMs are out of office.
  • Maternity Leave Coverage for Central Region:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day relationship management of Focus Partners
  • Drive deal registration and pipeline initiatives with the regional team, Field Marketer and partners using th 4 key levers. Execute marketing activities and MDF budget in coordination with Field Marketing Manager.
  • Manage partner pipeline for New, Existing and HTL orders ensuring we have escalation paths with regional leadership on orders over $100K.
  • Maintain productive, professional, relationships with key stakeholder personnel within Top Focus Partners. Foster multi-level relationships between partners and Gigamon regional teams.
  • Communicate product launches and promotions; drive partner participation in events.
  • Works closely with Distribution team to ensure efficient order processing.

What you’ve done:

  • Five (5+) plus years working with the channel in high technology.
  • Experience interfacing and collaborating with channel partners, sales people and channel people.
  • Knowledge of networking, data center, security and/or cloud technologies a plus.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; must be high energy, motivated and a self starter.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel into the supported regions on occasion.

The base salary + commission compensation range targeted for this role is expected to be between $115,000 - $145,000 (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
