Job Description

Nscale is seeking an Internal IT Engineer in London to manage IT support, onboarding, and tooling for employees. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience with Mac and Windows devices, M365, and Google Suite. The engineer will provide internal IT support, manage tickets, and improve processes, working closely with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, ensuring productivity and adherence to industry standards.
Must Have:
  • Providing an internal IT support service with professional and technical competency
  • Following ITIL processes
  • On/off boarding new employees, ensuring appropriate tools and access
  • Handling all incoming support related enquiries from internal users
  • Ensuring all support tickets are properly managed, regularly updated, and resolved timely
  • Continual improvement of process and procedures to deliver end user compute services
  • Research and development of IT services and solutions
  • Working closely with other key stakeholders to ensure proper preparation for meetings and optimise time
  • Experience working with Mac and Windows devices across both M365 and Google Suite
  • Understanding and skillset to grasp technical problems quickly
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Disciplined, organised and self-motivated, good team player
  • Reliable, conscientious and methodical approach to tasks in a confidential manner
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Ability to prioritise and escalate when necessary
  • Ability to instruct non-technical users on computer / application usage
  • Understanding of Encryption and IT Security
  • Experience supporting Windows and Apple Devices (macOS & iOS)

About the role:

We're looking for a strong IT engineer with experience working with Mac and Windows devices across both M365 and Google Suite. You'll need to have the understanding and skillset to grasp technical problems quickly, and the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders. This position will be fully office based in our new London office near Regent Street, and you will be working face-to-face with all levels in the organisation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing an internal IT support service, using a professional and technical competency, whilst following the ITIL processes
  • On/off boarding new employees, ensuring they have appropriate tools and access appropriate to their role
  • Handling all incoming support related enquiries from internal users
  • Ensuring all support tickets are properly managed, regularly updated with an accurate account of activities that have taken place to progress towards their timely resolution
  • Continual improvement of process and procedures to deliver end user compute services
  • Research and development of IT services and solutions
  • You’ll work closely with other key stakeholders to ensure proper preparation for any and all meetings and work to optimise everyone’s time.

Please note: This role requires you to be in our London office 5x per week, located near Regent Street.
