Your daily life

Between Nantes and Angers, close to the Atlantic coast, our Cholet site, predominantly R&D with a strong industrial footprint, specializes in defense radiocommunications, satellite communication systems, and cybersecurity solutions.

Securing communications on military tactical networks requires protocols guaranteeing confidentiality, authenticity, and data integrity, while being performant in constrained environments.

To protect these exchanges, the internship will focus on prototyping a solution for securing IP communications on radio/mobile equipment, based on IPsec with integration of ROHC compression (Robust Header Compression) and dynamic tunnel establishment via IKEv2 (Internet Key Exchange v2).

You will have to:

• Participate in the design, implementation, and validation of this solution in a simulated or real environment.
• Acquire knowledge of the operating principles of IPsec, IKEv2, and ROHC protocols, and their application in tactical and constrained networks.
• Prototype the deployment of IPsec with dynamic tunnel negotiation via IKEv2 and integration of ROHC packet compression.
• Implement and test the solution on equipment or test platforms, evaluating performance.
• Write complete technical documentation.

Your profile

You are in your final year of a Bac+5 degree with a focus on Development/Cybersecurity/Network and have knowledge in:

• Cryptographic protocols and communication security
• Development, prototyping, and testing on hardware platforms
• Network optimization mechanisms
• Technical English
