Job Description

Mattel, a global toy and family entertainment company, offers an internship in Licensing Development. This role involves contributing to the development and activation of iconic brands like Barbie and Hot Wheels. The intern will support the Consumer Products France team in all stages of license development and animation, including preparing presentations, creating sales tools, updating digital platforms, organizing B2B events, assisting with marketing actions, conducting market analyses, and collaborating with internal teams and over 200 partners.

  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations and pitches for new collaborations in diverse universes (textile, food, beauty, toys, etc.).
  • Participate in the creation and updating of sales support and partner communication tools.
  • Ensure the updating and animation of digital supports (website, newsletters, contact files).
  • Support the organization and coordination of B2B events (fairs, showrooms, meetings).
  • Accompany the deployment of marketing and promotional actions with retail partners and coordinate with licensees.
  • Participate in media, PR, and influence activations to support derivative product launches.
  • Perform market analyses (Circana, Euromonitor, Insight Familly…) and benchmarks to inform department expansion strategy.
  • Set up competitive monitoring and share key learnings with the team.
  • Collaborate with internal Mattel teams (marketing, sales, EMEA, US…) and over 200 licensed partners, prospects, and retailers on various projects.
  • Student in business school, management or university (master's level).
  • Combine business approach, creativity and rigor, with real autonomy in managing your missions.
  • Comfortable in an international environment, fluent in French and English.
  • Enjoy working in project mode, with a product sense and strong curiosity for trends, pop culture and retail.
Perks:
  • Monthly gross gratification: 1500€.
  • Restaurant vouchers: 9.45€ (4€ charged to the intern) or on-site company restaurant.

Plunging into the world of licenses at Mattel means contributing to the influence of iconic brands (Barbie, Hot Wheels, Uno, Fisher Price, Monster High, Pingu…) and actively participating in the development of new product categories / distribution networks.

We offer a rich and formative internship where you will play a key role in supporting and activating our projects.

Alongside the Consumer Products France team (4 people), you will be involved in all stages of the development and animation of our licenses. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations and pitches to develop new collaborations in very diverse universes: textile, food, beauty, toys…

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Student in business school, management or university (master's level).
  • You combine business approach, creativity and rigor, with real autonomy in managing your missions.
  • Comfortable in an international environment, you are fluent in French and English.
  • You enjoy working in project mode, with a product sense and strong curiosity for trends, pop culture and retail.
  • A first experience in marketing/licensing is a plus

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

  • Duration and period: 6 months from January 2026
  • Gratification: 1500€ gross per month
  • Restaurant vouchers: 9.45€ (4€ charged to the intern) or on-site company restaurant
  • 50% monthly reimbursement of public transport pass
  • Location: Bagneux, south of Paris, accessible by Line 4 or RER B - near Porte d'Orléans (14th arrondissement)
