Job Summary

Join the Biometrics Research & Technology team at Thales in Meudon to develop next-generation biometric algorithms for faces, irises, and fingerprints. Your missions will include conducting a state-of-the-art study on DeepFake generation techniques, implementing generation methods, exploring and implementing control techniques, evaluating these methods against DeepFake detection systems, and writing an internship report and internal documentation.

Must Have

  • Studying in the final year of an engineering school or equivalent in computer vision, artificial intelligence, signal processing, or mathematics.
  • First experience in image processing.
  • Proficiency in Python development.
  • Ability to read and write easily in English.
  • Analytical and synthetic mind, rigor, and autonomy.

You will join Thales's Biometrics Research & Technology team, which develops next-generation biometric algorithms for faces, irises, and fingerprints.

Your missions:

  • Conduct a state-of-the-art study on DeepFake generation techniques, particularly in the context of "face swapping" or "face editing".
  • Implement certain generation methods.
  • Explore and implement certain techniques to control generation.
  • Evaluate these methods in the context of an attack on a DeepFake detection system.
  • Write an internship report and internal documentation.

Your profile:

Are you studying in your final year of engineering school or equivalent in the field of computer vision, artificial intelligence, signal processing, or mathematics and looking for a 6-month internship?

Do you have first experience in image processing and are comfortable reading and implementing scientific publications?

Are you proficient in Python development? Does your English level allow you to read and write easily in this language?

Do you want to discover the exciting technologies of biometrics and machine learning?

Do you have an analytical and synthetic mind, demonstrate rigor and autonomy?
