Job Description
- Conduct bibliographic study of signal processing techniques for side-channel analysis.
- Collect and perform side-channel attacks on advanced circuits using measurement instruments.
- Apply signal processing and deep-learning techniques for side-channel attack comparison.
- 6-month internship at Bac+5 level in computer science, electronics, or cybersecurity.
- Specialization in signal processing, embedded systems, cryptography, or IT security.
- Experience with Python (numpy, scipy, scikit-learn), Deep Learning.
- Knowledge of FFT, filtering, demodulation.
- Familiarity with laboratory tools (Oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer).

Your daily life
By joining us in La Ciotat, you will integrate a site ideally located on the Mediterranean coast, within an international environment bringing together our digital identity and security activities.
This internship proposes to explore several noise reduction methods, test them in the context of a real laboratory attack on state-of-the-art secure circuits, and finally conclude on their relevance in the context of statistical side-channel attacks (CPA, DPA).
During this internship, you will:
- Conduct a bibliographic study of existing signal processing techniques in the context of side-channel analysis.
- Collect and perform side-channel attacks on advanced circuits using several types of measurement instruments (electromagnetic probe, current probe…).
- Apply multiple techniques ranging from simple signal processing to advanced deep-learning methods to compare the best signal processing techniques in the context of side-channel attacks on new generations of secure integrated circuits.
Your profile
Your priority is to obtain a 6-month internship at Bac+5 level in the field of computer science, electronics, and cybersecurity specializing in signal processing, embedded systems, cryptography, or IT security.
You have experience in:
- Python (numpy, scipy, scikit-learn), Deep Learning
- FFT, filtering, demodulation
- Laboratory tools (Oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer…)
