  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure test effectiveness.
  • Own test execution infrastructure.
  • Lead innovation in testing, including AI-supported test generation.
  • Support Interoperability Architects in deploying tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align testing with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide engineers in test architecture and automation best practices.
  • 14+ years experience in Software Development, Design, Architecture, Testing, QA.
  • Strong understanding of interoperability standards and verification processes.
  • Expertise in test automation frameworks and reusable component design.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of BDD and Gherkin syntax.
  • Ability to architect and maintain scalable test infrastructure.
  • Analytical skills for test coverage and effectiveness.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies in interoperability and testing.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking to translate requirements into tactical execution.

Interoperability Software Architect

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, automation-driven testing strategies that ensure compliance with healthcare standards. The Interoperability Architect will drive interoperability test strategy with tactical realization, innovation in test infrastructure, collaborate across teams, and shape the future of interoperability verification through AI-supported approaches. Join us in advancing interoperability testing with AI-driven innovation and make a real impact on how systems connect and work together.

Your Role:

  • Evolve and enhance interoperability test strategy in collaboration with lead interoperability architect.
  • Bridges strategic verification and tactical realization (how to test) of interoperability for BU products.
  • Translate interoperability requirements into scalable automation strategy, minimizing duplication through common step patterns and reusable components.
  • Ensure availability and scalability of test infrastructure, environment, and tooling, including integration with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments.
  • Ensure coverage, consistency, and efficiency of testing processes to meet interoperability requirements.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure test effectiveness and interoperability coverage.
  • Owns test execution infrastructure of the verification team.
  • Lead innovation in testing, including transition from manual tests to Gherkin specifications, AI-supported test generation, and emerging methodologies.
  • Supporting Interoperability Architects in deploying interoperability tests into BU CI/CD pipelines.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in interoperability and testing.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including business units (BUs) and interoperability architects to align testing with business objectives and interoperability standards.
  • Mentor and guide engineers in test architecture and automation best practices, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

You are fit if:

  • 14+ experience in Software Development, Software Design and Architecture, Testing and Quality Assurance or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of interoperability standards and verification processes.
  • Expertise in test automation frameworks and reusable component design.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of behavior-driven development (BDD) and Gherkin syntax.
  • Ability to architect and maintain scalable test infrastructure.
  • Analytical skills to define and measure test coverage and effectiveness.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and trends in interoperability and testing.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate requirements into tactical execution.

How we work together:

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is an office-based role.
