Seeking a Senior Product Manager to define, develop, and introduce winning propositions for Image Guided Therapy Systems. The role involves driving product lifecycle management, prioritizing solutions, maintaining competitiveness, managing customer escalations, and supporting platform health. This position is based in Bangalore, focusing on both upstream and downstream marketing deliverables within the IGT-S organization, a global market leader in cardiovascular image guidance solutions.

Must Have:
  • Contribute to the definition of the integral proposition of the product based on market- and customer insights.
  • Responsible for lifecycle management of IGT-S platforms (including obsolescence management, phase-in and phase-out).
  • Maintain the overview of all planned RfS (Request for solutions) and work on prioritization of activities.
  • Maintain Competitiveness overview of platforms and support with tender information, competition launch check, and market requests.
  • Manage customer escalations from markets & clinical team and drive their active resolution.
  • Support definition, development, and maintenance of the platforms in line with business strategy.
  • Master’s degree in marketing or related fields with excellent academic track record.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an international business environment in marketing or product management.
  • Expertise in market segmentation, product and service strategy, competitive strategy, and product/service development.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills; ability to synthesize market and customer feedback and experience with Value Proposition development.
  • Ability to guide and drive the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product.
  • Experience with various aspects of Healthcare marketing -both strategic and tactical- to ensure successful launch.
  • Ability to collaborate with local marketing and sales teams, influence others, present convincing arguments and build and maintain extensive networks.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with different stakeholders.
  • Independent and self-starting.
  • Solid spoken and written English skills.

We are seeking Senior Product Manager who will drive the definition, development and introduction of winning propositions for the market of Image Guided Therapy Systems and other complementary modalities, enabling our customers to deliver the best possible patient care at optimal economical value while performing minimal invasive cardiovascular procedures.

Your Role:

  • Contribute to the definition of the integral proposition of the product based on market- and customer insights, including value proposition, supporting claims, pricing strategy, offer design, target customers and markets.
  • Responsible for lifecycle management of our IGT-S platforms (including obsolescence management, phase-in and phase-out)
  • Maintain the overview of all planned RfS (Request for solutions) and work on prioritization of activities with the Cross functional teams
  • Maintain Competitiveness overview of our platforms with rest to Cost and also support with tender information, competition launch check and other market requests
  • Manage customer escalations from markets & clinical team and drive their active resolution through platform roadmap and/or workarounds. Maintain the quality dashboard for our platforms
  • Support definition, development, and maintenance of the platforms (products/solutions) in line with business strategy, to get the optimal combination of performance and profitability.
  • Support activities that promote the overall health of the product/platform

You are a part of the cardiovascular system is the core of what we sell in Image Guided Therapy – Systems (IGT-S). The IGT-S organization is responsible for global marketing, development and manufacturing of image guidance solutions in the area of cardiac or vascular medical diagnosis and intervention (e.g. balloon angioplasty and stent procedures). You will be part of the marketing team that is focusing on both upstream and downstream marketing deliverables, including new product development and Go To Market strategies. IGT-S is the global market leader and in the heart of Philips Healthcare. This position is based in Bangalore, and you will report to the Sr. Director Product Management.

You are fit if:

  • Master’s degree in marketing or related fields with excellent academic track record.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an international business environment in marketing or product management; ideally in a high-tech environment. Working knowledge of Image Guided Therapy is a definite plus.
  • Expertise in market segmentation, product and service strategy, competitive strategy, and product/service development.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills; ability to synthesize market and customer feedback and experience with Value Proposition development
  • Ability to guide and drive the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product; broad interests that allow you to interact with various disciplines; inspire and motivate others.
  • Affinity with medical technologies and the interfaces between these technologies
  • Experience with various aspects of Healthcare marketing -both strategic and tactical- to ensure successful launch of our proposition (s) in the market
  • Ability to collaborate with local marketing and sales teams, influence others, present convincing arguments and build and maintain extensive networks

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
