Job Description

Valeo is seeking an Inventory Analyst to manage periodic and cycle counting, analyze inventory gaps, and participate in internal periodic inventory preparations. The role involves providing data for inventory accuracy indicators, measuring accuracy, proposing action plans to reduce discrepancies, and following up on daily indicators. The analyst will also define and execute corrective actions, collaborate with other departments, and ensure the implementation of actions to improve inventory accuracy. This position supports regions facing crises by building progress roadmaps.

Must Have:

Manage the Inventory Cycle Counting
Analyze inventory gaps
Participate in the preparation and execution of internal periodic inventory
Define counting procedures with the Financial department
Provide data for inventory accuracy indicators and discrepancies’ analysis
Measure inventory accuracy and propose action plans to reduce discrepancies
Follow up and report daily relevant indicators (Negatives stock, non processed transactions, etc.)
Define and execute corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy
Ensure regular contact with other departments and participate in Cross Functional Teams
Ensure the implementation and respect of actions within the organization
Help regions facing dramatic crises by ensuring progress roadmaps are built

Manage the inventory Periodic & Cycle Counting:

Manage the Inventory Cycle Counting
Analyses inventory gaps
Participate actively in the preparation and the execution of the internal periodic inventory
Participate in the definition of the counting procedures with Financial department

Provide data for inventory accuracy indicators and discrepancies’ analysis:

Provide all necessary data for inventory accuracy indicators and discrepancies’ analysis
Measure the inventory accuracy. Propose action plans to reduce inventory discrepancies.
Follow up and report daily relevant indicators (Negatives stock, non processed transactions,etc…).

Define and execute corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy:

Actively participate in and support the action plans to improve inventory accuracy.
Ensure regular contact with others departments outside the work group, participate in Cross Functional Teams to find solutions improving inventory accuracy.
Insure the implementation and the respect of those actions within the organization.

Help regions having a site facing a dramatic crisis , ensuring that progress roadmaps are built.
