Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to join COO Finance Spend team under COO Org. As an SFA, you will be closely partnered with a variety of key stakeholders across Finance, go-to-market operations and the COO Finance organization.
You must effectively partner with business leaders, have the capability to work at different levels, have experience building and improving complex financial models, have excellent collaboration skills, be agile and innovative. You will be in a highly strategic role that will build processes and drive insights and action that lead to a measurable impact on the business.
You will report to the Senior Finance Manager of SPM Team and help support the VP of Sales, CS, Marketing & GET/GSO Finance director and FBP’s under COO Org.
Responsibilities
- Partnership with Finance teams: You will partner with VP, FD & FBPs to support budget owners in analyzing areas for potential spend savings and recommending solutions for effectively managing their spending
- Financial analysis: You will provide monthly reporting around spend and assist in providing ad-hoc analyses to help support business decisions
- Driving process improvement: You will recommend and lead improvements to deliver high-quality results as well as implement new standards/processes across the COO Finance team
Minimum Qualifications
- Drive the annual budget planning, quarterly and monthly forecasting cycles for WWS Organization
- Develop financial Frameworks to help drive strategic business decisions, provide insight into ROI on Sales & Marketing investment, and track progress against our strategic goals
- Lead monthly and quarterly management reporting, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risks, and communicating key messages to senior leadership
- Utilize SAP and Anaplan to track, manage, and report all expenditure (OPEX) forecasts
- Work closely with Finance Business Partners and HR to track headcount including to-be-hired activity and provide ad-hoc financial analyses for fixed costs
- Own quarter-end activities include preparing and submitting cross-charges and accruals as well as being the primary liaison between Corporate Accounting, FP&A and the Sales Finance team
- Lead special projects including building new models/templates, revamping existing processes, and ad-hoc analyses that arise as the business changes
