Job Description

The Planning & Forecasting Manager (LATAM) supports the Business Unit Finance Team and Finance Director by leading annual and monthly/quarterly forecasts. This role coordinates, prepares scenarios, discusses, aligns, and reports financial forecasting information for the LATAM Business Unit, ensuring timely managerial financial reporting according to Corporate guidelines, facilitating managerial decision-making. The manager will also lead and develop a team of 10+ finance professionals.
Good To Have:
  • Background in Financial Controllership or Finance Business Partnering is preferred.
  • Experience in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry is a strong plus.
Must Have:
  • Leading the preparation and coordination of the Short-Term Forecast, Annual Business Plan, and Long-Range Strategic Plan.
  • Collaborating with Business Unit Finance and cross-functional teams across LATAM to develop robust financial forecasts.
  • Building, updating, and maintaining financial models to deliver detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Driving simplification and standardization of planning processes to enhance efficiency and focus on value-added activities.
  • Understanding key business drivers and translating them into P&L and Cash Flow forecasts.
  • Analyzing variances against budget, prior year, and previous forecasts, and providing actionable insights.
  • Preparing and presenting internal management reports to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Managing ad-hoc reporting requests from in-market finance teams and the Finance Director.
  • Fostering a strong sense of unity and collaboration across finance teams in different geographies.
  • Leading and developing a team of 10+ finance professionals, providing mentorship and career development support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, controlling, and analysis, preferably in a multinational corporate environment.

The Planning & Forecasting Manager (LATAM) will be supporting Business Unit Finance Team and Finance Director by leading annual and monthly/quarterly forecasts processes. This role will be also responsible to coordinate, prepare scenarios, discuss, align and report the financial forecasting information of LATAM Business Unit, ensuring that managerial financial reporting is performed, in time and in the forms required by Corporate guidelines, facilitating managerial decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, controlling, and analysis, preferably in a multinational corporate environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Background in Financial Controllership or Finance Business Partnering is preferred.
  • Experience in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry is a strong plus.
