In this role, the new joiner will support the development, testing, and maintenance our iOS Zettle app, working with senior engineers to learn and grow their skills. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the creation of high-quality mobile applications.

Start Date: Full time starting April 2025.

We are looking for a motivated recent graduate to join the Checkout team as an iOS Developer. In this role, the new joiner will support the development, testing, and maintenance our iOS Zettle app, working with senior engineers to learn and grow their skills. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the creation of high-quality mobile applications.

What we expect from you:

As a Junior iOS Developer, you will assist in writing clean and efficient code using Swift and Xcode, collaborating with the team to implement new features and optimize existing ones. Your tasks will include debugging issues, participating in code reviews, and staying updated on the latest iOS development trends. You’ll be expected to have a solid foundation in programming concepts and an understanding of object-oriented programming and mobile design principles.

What you need to bring:

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and has basic knowledge of Swift, Xcode, and the iOS SDK. While prior experience through projects or internships is a plus, we are primarily looking for someone with a passion for learning, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
