Must Have
- 3+ years experience in IT security operations, vulnerability management, and patching
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Microsoft Defender, Armis Centrix, VIPR)
- Familiarity with CVSS scoring and remediation SLAs
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle and cloud security principles
- Ability to align processes with ISO27001, CIS benchmarks, and internal security standards
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Amenable to work on EMEA time schedule
- 2x RTO (Return to Office) per week

WHY THIS ROLES IS IMPORTANT TO US:
The IT Service Specialist is the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and issues reported via phone and ticketing system, providing remote support to employees. The role focuses on resolving issues related to hardware, software, and networks, managing IT requests, and delivering high-quality assistance to ensure efficient everyday operations. The IT Service Specialist is critical in maintaining and improving the efficiency of IT services. Your goal will be to deliver top-notch service, ensuring users can continue their work with minimal disruption.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Vulnerability Management
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and assessments using enterprise tools.
- Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on CVSS scoring and business impact.
- Maintain accurate documentation of findings and remediation actions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to implement fixes and mitigations.
Patch Management
- Develop and maintain patching schedules for operating systems and applications.
- Coordinate patch deployment across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Monitor patch compliance and report on key metrics.
- Ensure adherence to internal patching policies and regulatory requirements.
Governance & Compliance
- Align processes with ISO27001, CIS benchmarks, and internal security standards.
- Support audits by providing evidence of vulnerability and patch management activities.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Incident Response Support
- Assist in investigations related to vulnerabilities and patching gaps.
- Contribute to post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3+ years of experience in IT security operations, vulnerability management, and patching.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Microsoft Defender, Armis Centrix & VIPR).
- Familiarity with CVSS scoring and remediation SLAs.
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle and cloud security principles.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent will be an advantage
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and risk reduction.
- Vulnerability remediation within defined SLAs.
- Patch compliance rate across systems.
- Reduction in critical/high vulnerabilities over time.
- Timeliness and accuracy of vulnerability reporting.
Other requirement
- Amenable to work on EMEA time schedule
- 2x RTO per week
