Job Summary
Join SimCorp's Regulatory Reporting and Compliance team as a Lead Technical Writer. This role is vital for creating and maintaining clear, accurate client-facing documentation for regulatory services. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to develop internal and external content, ensuring it meets high standards. Responsibilities include documenting design standards, guidelines, best practices, and component specifications using Madcap Flare, continuously updating content, and improving documentation processes. You will also work with cross-functional teams to align documentation with product development and contribute to corporate documentation standards.
Must Have
- Create clear, concise documentation for Regulatory Reporting and Compliance services.
- Document design standards, guidelines, best practices, and component specifications.
- Update and maintain existing documentation in Madcap Flare.
- Ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency in documentation.
- Understand end-user needs for tailored documentation.
- Improve documentation processes and tools.

- Extensive experience as a technical writer.
- Proficiency in UI design principles, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, topic-based authoring, and MadCap Flare.
- Experience with design systems, component libraries, and UI frameworks.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer focused on crafting and maintaining comprehensive documentation to join our motivated Regulatory Reporting and Compliance team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our client facing regulatory services documentation meets the highest standards of clarity and accuracy. You will collaborate with regulatory subject matter experts to create internal and external content that supports our technical and business needs. In addition you will leverage your experience to meaningfully contribute to corporate documentation processes.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Documentation Development: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for the Regulatory Reporting and Compliance services. This includes documenting design standards, guidelines, best practices, and component specifications.
Content Maintenance: Continuously update and maintain existing documentation in Madcap Flare to reflect changes and updates. Ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency across all documentation.
User-Focused Approach: Understand the needs and perspectives of end users and stakeholders to tailor documentation to their requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and tools to enhance efficiency, clarity, and usability. Implement best practices for documentation management and version control.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information, clarify technical concepts, and ensure alignment between documentation and product development efforts. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into documentation revisions.
Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to internal knowledge sharing initiatives. Promote a culture of documentation excellence within the organization.
Integrating with Corporate Documentation Processes: Aligning with and diligently contributing to corporate documentation processes and standards
WHAT WE VALUE
- Extensive experience as a technical writer, specializing in writing documentation.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of UI design principles, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and topic-based authoring and tools (e.g., MadCap Flare).
- Experience working with design systems, component libraries, and UI frameworks
- Communication Skills: Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex technical concepts into clear and accessible documentation. Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
- Collaboration and Openness to Change: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a flexible and growth-oriented environment. Willingness to adjust to evolving priorities and take on growth opportunities as needed.

- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in technical communication, English, computer science, or a related field.
