Must Have

  • Proven experience developing executive-level messaging for complex topics.
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

SailPoint is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications to help shape and amplify the company’s story during a pivotal phase of growth. This role is responsible for developing and executing corporate communications programs that elevate SailPoint’s brand, support executive visibility, and clearly articulate our strategy, innovation, and market leadership. The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator and strong writer who can translate complex technology and business priorities into clear, compelling narratives — and who is equally comfortable advising senior leaders and executing with excellence.

What you’ll do:

  • Shape and evolve SailPoint’s corporate narrative, ensuring clarity, consistency, and differentiation across audiences
  • Act as a steward of SailPoint’s long-term corporate narrative, ensuring it evolves alongside our strategy, market position, and growth trajectory
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to support high-impact communications, including thought leadership articles and blogs, keynotes, talking points, and podcasts
  • Serve as trusted advisor to senior executives on messaging, tone, and timing to influence perception with external audiences
  • Develop and execute external communications programs tied to company milestones, product innovation, and market momentum
  • Collaborate with our network of global PR agencies to drive proactive media engagement and manage reactive communications as needed
  • Own and protect SailPoint’s corporate reputation, including issues management, crisis communications, and sensitive or high-stakes situations in close partnership with legal and executive leadership
  • Anticipate reputational risks and develop scenario plans and communication playbooks to ensure organizational readiness
  • Provide guidance that shapes our social media strategy across channels, amplifying SailPoint’s voice through owned platforms, including the company’s podcast network
  • Embrace AI-powered tools and workflows to increase speed, scale, and effectiveness while preserving quality, credibility, and SailPoint’s unique voice
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of corporate communications and PR professionals, fostering strong execution, collaboration, and professional growth
  • Set clear standards, processes, and operating rhythms for the corporate communications function, ensuring consistency, speed, and excellence across public relations, influencer relations, organic social media, and blog.
  • Create messaging frameworks, FAQs, and communications plans to support cross-functional initiatives
  • Work closely with marketing, product marketing, investor relations, legal and internal comms to ensure alignment
  • Support major moments such as earnings, company news and launches, and industry events with clear, confident messaging
  • Measure, analyze and report on the effectiveness of corporate communications programs, using insights and data to inform strategy and demonstrate business impact, maintaining high standards of quality and execution
  • Ensure communications programs are designed to scale globally, with sensitivity to regional audiences, markets and media landscapes
