Job Summary

BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. is seeking a Vice President to publish index risk information through the Aladdin investment platform, ensuring high-quality data for investment management decisions. The role involves investigating and resolving complex issues, performing ad-hoc analysis of large datasets, and understanding risk analytics for fixed income, equity, and alternatives. Responsibilities include providing high-quality client service, addressing inquiries, and driving platform improvements to support new business needs, minimize risk, and enhance quality. The Vice President will also identify and challenge nonstandard processes to facilitate automation within financial reporting.

Must Have

  • Publish index risk information through Aladdin investment platform
  • Ensure high quality data is delivered in a timely manner for investment management decisions

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis of large data sets while meeting tight deadlines

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, and 12 months of experience in job offered or in Business, Accounting, Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related role
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, and 36 months of experience in job offered or in Business, Accounting, Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related role
  • One year of experience in performing financial market analysis of stocks, fixed income instruments, securitized products, alternative investments, and derivatives
  • One year of experience in implementing tactical solutions in order to improve implementation and demo processes
  • One year of experience in utilizing Perl, Python, SQL, and Unix
  • One year of experience in utilizing financial knowledge including risk analytics related to fixed income, equity, and alternative products and financial risk metrics
  • One year of experience in working with index data and index related products, including index funds, index methodologies, index reconstitutions, and index specific terminology

Identify and challenge nonstandard/ exception-based processes to facilitate automation within our financial reporting process.

Qualifications: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, and 12 months of experience in job offered or in Business, Accounting, Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related role. Alternative Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, and 36 months of experience in job offered or in Business, Accounting, Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related role. For San Francisco, CA Only the salary range for this position is USD$213,512.00 - USD$215,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
