Job Description :
The IT Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of workstations, computers, and software used by development, creative, and production teams. They ensure system stability, contribute to continuous improvement of practices, and propose new solutions (including artificial intelligence tools) to optimize productivity and user comfort in a collaborative, creative, and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- User Support
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network incidents on workstations and high-performance computers.
- Assist users in the proper use of IT tools.
- Workstation Diagnosis & Maintenance
- Identify, analyze, and fix hardware issues (CPU, GPU, RAM, motherboards, storage, power supply).
- Optimize workstation performance for art, technical, and QA teams.
- Perform hardware and software testing to prevent failures.
- IT Asset Management
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and software.
- Manage hardware inventory and software licenses.
- Prepare and deploy work environments for new employees.
- Participate in daily validation routines to ensure all critical studio systems are operational.
- Maintenance & Security
- Apply system updates and security patches.
- Implement and monitor protection solutions (antivirus, backups, monitoring).
- Collaborate with the IT team to anticipate and reduce cybersecurity risks.
- Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Create and update user guides and internal procedures.
- Actively contribute to improving IT processes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Windows environments.
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills (computers, workstations).
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and IT asset management tools.
- Physical ability to carry and move computers and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of users.
Learning & Knowledge Sharing:
We are looking for someone eager to continuously learn and stay up to date with new technologies. Curiosity and active monitoring of hardware, software, and emerging tools (including AI) are essential. The IT Technician should also enjoy sharing knowledge with the team to contribute to collective skill development and improvement of studio practices.
What You Bring:
Education:
- DEC in Computer Science or AEC in IT/Network Support.
- Or a passionate self-taught individual with strong practical IT knowledge.
- Technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco CCNA) are an asset.
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years in an IT support or technician role.
- Strongly valued: experience in workstation diagnosis and maintenance.

- Hands-on problem solver, not afraid to “get under the hood” and explore creative solutions.

Languages:
