Job Description
As a Java Architect, you will assess technical feasibility and implementation risks, design and implement overall technical and solution architecture, defining system structures, interfaces, and guiding principles. This role involves utilizing business and technology expertise to manage and lead complete solutions, demonstrating leadership within the architect community, and working at a CIO/CTO level. Responsibilities include leading Capgemini operations in market development and service delivery, acting as a role model, and possessing relevant certifications. The architect will require expertise in various technologies and frameworks, including SDLC methodologies, Agile, cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud, various programming languages, and database technologies. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to ensure successful project outcomes.
Must have:
- Experience with SDLC methodology
- Proficiency in Java programming language
- Experience with Agile software development
- Knowledge of Cloud architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good to have:
- Experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with DevOps practices
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with Integration
- Knowledge of TOGAF Framework

They are responsible for the design and implementation of the overall technical and solution architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, the solution principles guiding the organisation, the software design and the implementation. The scope of the Solution Architectâs role is defined by the business issue at hand. To fulfil the role, a Solution Architect utilises business and technology expertise and experience.

Managing Solution/Delivery Architect - Design, deliver and manage complete solutions. Demonstrate leadership of topics in the architect community and show a passion for technology and business acumen. Work as a stream lead at CIO/CTO level for an internal or external client. Lead Capgemini operations relating to market development and/or service delivery excellence. Are seen as a role model in their (local) community. Certification: preferably Capgemini Architects certification level 2 or above, relevant solution certifications, IAF and/or industry certifications such as TOGAF 9 or equivalent.
