What is this job all about?
Are you a skilled looking to make an impact in the gaming industry? Join us and contribute to maintaining and growing our portfolio of successful live games. You’ll be responsible for developing new features, improving backend systems, and ensuring stable, high-quality player experiences using Java.
What will you be doing?
- Implementing new functionalities in the game;
- Maintaining and optimizing the app;
- Technical support for game designers in designing new functionalities;
- Collaborating with other developers and teams to deliver high-quality game features.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Java Developer, preferably in a project with high traffic and live operations;
- Good knowledge of Java;
- Good understanding of algorithms and data structures;
- Knowledge of GIT version control system;
- Experience in the development of scalable server applications;
- Experience working with PlayFab services or other live ops / backend-as-a-service platforms would be a strong plus;
- Familiarity with game backend systems, event-driven architectures, and real-time player data handling is a plus;
- Experience in Redis, PostgreSQL, Protocol Buffers, Jenkins, Maven, Python 3, and Netty would be a plus;
- Ability to work closely with game teams to design and implement backend features supporting new content, events, and player engagement systems.
