The Junior Channel Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing trade marketing strategies for specific channels, aiming to maximize brand performance at the POS. This role involves leading market analysis, consumer behavior studies, coordinating promotional campaigns, and ensuring perfect execution. The primary goal is to increase product demand, boost sales, and strengthen relationships with channel partners, aligning trade marketing initiatives with overall company marketing and sales objectives.
Must have:
  • Lead channel trade team, fostering high performance and continuous development.
  • Promote effective communication with marketing, GC, Shopper, and category trade teams.
  • Lead JBP development with MAP and category trade stories.
  • Drive JBP tracking and customize trade stories for client presentations.
  • Manage promotional calendar and channel visibility actions.
  • Promote work model for understanding promotional action returns.
  • Provide direction for channel trade team during internal processes.
  • Lead distribution plan development with category trade.
  • Bring go-to-market initiatives for distribution potential and efficiency.
  • Lead quarterly plan (sellout) preparation and tracking.
  • Ensure alignment on POS material execution with client negotiations.
  • Lead action plans based on 4Ps, understanding product mix, pricing, promotion, distribution, and competition.
  • Completed Higher Education.
  • Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience in Indirect Channel.
  • Travel availability.

Junior Channel Trade Marketing Manager

The Junior Channel Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing trade marketing strategies for specific channels, aiming to maximize brand performance at the POS. Responsible for leading market analysis and consumer behavior, coordinating promotional campaigns and perfect execution. The main contribution of this position to the organization is to increase product demand, boost sales and strengthen relationships with channel partners, while aligning trade marketing initiatives with the company's overall marketing and sales objectives:

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead the channel trade team, creating a high-performance culture and continuous development of the work model and processes;
  • Promote effective communication with the marketing, GC, Shopper, and category trade teams;
  • Lead the channel trade team in the development of JBP (Joint-Business-Planning) with input from MAP;
  • (Market Activation Plans) & category trade stories; with a clear vision of what truly drives brand growth in each of the channels and clients
  • Drive JBP tracking by client and brand and customization of the trade story developed by category trade for presentation to clients. As well as, preparation and management of the promotional calendar and visibility actions for channels by client;
  • Promote a work model for knowledge and visibility of the return on promotional/visibility actions for more assertive decision-making;
  • Promote direction/voice of the channel trade team during the company's internal processes led by category trade (e.g., MAP, DRM, Commercial Forum);
  • Leader in the preparation of the distribution plan, working in partnership with category trade to achieve distribution targets;
  • Bring go-to-market initiatives and opportunities to achieve our distribution potential and efficiency;
  • Lead the preparation of quarterly plans (sellout) and tracking;
  • Ensure alignment of channel trade, shopper, and GC in the preparation and execution of POS materials according to negotiations with clients;
  • Lead the channel trade team in action plans based on the 4Ps, having a complete understanding of the executed product mix, price positioning, promotional level, distribution, and competitor activity;

  • Languages required for this position: English: Intermediate/Advanced;
  • Experience in the Indirect Channel;
  • Knowledge of the IQVIA tool;
  • Office Suite and Power BI;
  • Travel availability;
