Job Description

The Key Account Manager at Haleon is responsible for promoting and selling Haleon products to designated Key Accounts (PCS) to achieve sales and customer coverage goals. This role involves developing customer development strategies, maintaining relationships, and optimizing product in-store exposure. Key responsibilities include delivering sales performance, formulating winning account strategies, negotiating trade marketing activities, and ensuring good product presence. The manager will also develop effective promotion plans, facilitate new product introductions, and increase customer satisfaction through Joint Business Plan discussions, while proactively providing market intelligence.

  • Account planning, negotiation skill.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin.
  • Interpersonal and communication skill.

About the role

Promote and sell HALEON products to designated Key account(PCS) to achieve sales and customer coverage goals.

Develop customer development strategy& maintain relationship. This role sits in Modern Trade Dept. and reports to Channel Lead.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales performance in line with company objectives. Formulate winning account strategy to drive mutual business growth, negotiate and execute efficiently trade marketing activities, and to ensure good product presence.
  • Optimize product in-store exposure, understand customer product category, shelf space management approaches and explore opportunities to optimize in-store merchandising.
  • Achieve target contribution to company profit performance. Develop effective promotion plans and explore promotion opportunities, effectively utilize rental and allowance resources to drive business growth and develop effective contract negotiation plan to gain saving.
  • Facilitate line extension and new product introduction. Formulate new product go to market strategy as well as implement effectively and efficiently.
  • Increase customer satisfaction and their relationship with HALEON. Lead JBP (Joint Business Plan) discussion to strengthen partnership and engagement and assist customer in managing inventories and shelf space of HALEON products.
  • Proactively provide updated market intelligence to the supervisor and related working team.

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Key Account Manager.

We are looking for professionals with below qualifications and skills to achieve our goals:

  • 6+ years in sales/ account management, PCS experience is a must have.
  • Logical thinking, strong analytical and good at numbers.
  • Account planning, negotiation skill.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin.
  • Interpersonal and communication skill.
