Job Description

This internship offers hands-on experience in cloud operations. Responsibilities include identifying and resolving technical issues, assisting with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) configurations, monitoring systems, updating documentation, collaborating with the Security Operations Center, training AI tools, supporting database administration and network configuration, and communicating with customers. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of Linux administration, shell commands, and at least one programming language, along with a desire to learn AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools. The role requires contractor status with appropriate legal setup for invoicing.
Good To Have:
  • AWS/GCP or Linux/Kubernetes certifications

Location: Remote position open to candidates in Europe.

 

Contract Type: This position requires contractor status. You must have the appropriate legal setup (e.g., a business license or equivalent) that allows you to invoice us for your services.


What Will You Do? 

  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, focusing on bug fixes and maintenance.
  • Assist with Infrastructure as Code (mainly Terraform) configurations, helping to automate deployments and refine existing setups.
  • Monitor systems, respond to outages and coordinate with teammates for swift resolutions.
  • Update documentation and create playbooks for operational tasks to support the entire team.
  • Maintain internal tools, patch systems and automate testing for smooth, reliable operations.
  • Collaborate with the Security Operations Center on alerts, vulnerabilities and security events.
  • Train and calibrate AI tools to streamline daily tasks and introduce new innovations.
  • Support database administration and network configuration, learning on the job as you go.
  • Communicate with customers, especially during high-priority incidents or scheduled check-ins.

What You Bring 

  • Enthusiasm for tech and previous working experience, intern experience or personal projects in the cloud ops area.
  • Foundational knowledge of Linux administration, shell commands and at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Desire to learn about AWS, GCP, Kubernetes and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.
  • Good communication skills, ability to work under pressure and a strong team spirit.
  • Willingness to follow processes, adapt to evolving methods and help refine best practices.
  • Availability for occasional off-hours work (a few hours, not entire weekends).
  • Any AWS/GCP or Linux/Kubernetes certifications—or the ambition to earn them with our support.
