Reporting directly to the Commercial Sales Lead, this position plays a critical role in delivering the overall Customer Team’s financial and market goals. The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for driving the customer and brand strategy for either a defined portfolio within a key customer or the entire Haleon portfolio at up to two customers, often through multi-year planning or JBP, high level of team-based collaboration, and exceptional execution of aligned plans.

Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Commercial Sales Lead, and in collaboration with their direct and Crossfunctional Team:
Deliver the Business Goals
- Deliver Gross Sales, Net Sales, Profit, Consumption and $Share growth objectives for Customer/s, by brand
- Drive and align Haleon’s Strategic agenda with customer through effective multi-year Joint Business Planning
- Prioritize and allocate investment budgets against key business drivers; optimize ROI-based trade spend
- Achieve new product distribution objectives for assigned categories
- Execute Haleon brand & Shopper-based in-store strategies with excellence (shelving, distribution, promotion, pricing)
- Discipline and accountability for gross sales forecast accuracy, and GAP close initiatives
- Ensure appropriate tracking & reporting tools & processes are in place to measure results against critical KPI goals
Develop the Customer Relationship
- Develop exceptional customer relationships consistent with Haleon core values of trust and respect
- Be the Haleon ambassador to drive customer brand advocacy and disproportionate support
- Be viewed as the category and shopper expert and partner of choice for customer category key initiatives
- Effectively network up and across the customer to ensure access to key decision makers
- Set objectives to be #1 in customer service
Leverage the Team
- Role model collaboration as a key success behavior to achieve brand, shopper, and customer goals
- Collaborate with Digital Commerce team to evolve/develop omni presence with customer
- Partner with Sales Strategy to ensure Customer needs are met and embedded in brand plans
- Partner with Category Management, Shopper Marketing and Insights to drive a Shoppercentric customer agenda
- Integrate Net Revenue Management guidance into promotion ROI and trade negotiation plans
- Partner with Sales Finance Team to measure impact of investment options against P&L priorities
- Partner with Retail Development to ensure perfect instore execution of agreed shopper and customer plans
- Partner with Replenishment Analyst to set and achieve #1 in customer service and on shelf availability goals
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
KAM – Regional Accounts:
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills – *English & French
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 including word, PowerPoint, Teams, Power Bi and Excel
- Bachelor’s degree completed, with preference in Business or Healthcare Studies
- Valid driver licence
- 5+ years direct selling experience preferably with designated key account
- 3+ years of retail account management and development experience
- Deep market, category and account expertise
- Strong relationship building capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to develop consultative/solutions selling to regional retail accounts
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and with cross-functional teams
- Track record of driving results
- Strong planning & time management skills
- Strong analytical and presentation/story telling skills
- Business and personal growth mindset
- *Mastery of English is required for this position, as a significant portion of stakeholders and partners are located outside Quebec and do not speak French. This requirement is essential to ensure effective communication in carrying out the responsibilities of the role.
