Job Description

The Key Account Manager OTC role is within the Key Account Management OTC/Pharmacy Channel team. Responsibilities include achieving sales goals, ensuring product availability, building customer relationships, creating annual plans, developing Joint Business Plans (JBP), customer P&L analysis, implementing sales strategies in e-commerce, and managing customer orders. The role requires cross-functional cooperation, market feedback analysis, and commercial policy advisement. The job involves managing key accounts in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry, focusing on OTC drugs and pharmacy chains, and implementing JBP.
Must have:
  • University Degree preferably in Economics/ Business Administration
  • Fluent in Polish
  • Knowledge of English at a communicative level
  • 5 years of experience in managing key accounts
  • 3 years of experience of cooperation with nationwide pharmacy chains on OTC drugs
  • Experience in an international company
  • Managing the client's P&L and implementing JBP
  • Knowledge of the PowerBI tool and proficient analysis of market data
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Negotiation/influence/communication/analytical skills

Key Account Manager OTC

About the Role

This role is the part of Key Account Management OTC/Pharmacy Channel team, reporting to KAM Pharmacy Channel Lead. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of sell-in / sell-out goals and availability/visibility targets in the key account pharmacy business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop credible relationships that lead to win-win agreements, ensuring Haleon’s strategy is implemented.

  • Build annual customer plans and ensure regular monitoring of its execution.

  • Development of Joint Business Plans (JBP) to maximize sales and optimize trading conditions.

  • Customer P&L analysis - monitoring profitability and adjusting cooperation strategy

  • G2N (Gross to Net) budget management

  • Creation and implementation of sales strategies in the e-commerce channel

  • Hold accountability for the implementation of Haleon’s commercial strategy to the PH account customers. Sell-in and Sell-out and market share target hitting.

  • Cross functional cooperation to secure alignment on activation plans.

  • Responsible for timely and coordinated customer orders, based on accurate forecasting and delivery.

  • Effective distribution of promo materials and feedback to the customer marketing teams on the material effectiveness.

  • Market/customer/competition feedback that can support decision making, feed to the creation of forecasts and to the sub-channel strategy.

  • Key account tactics towards influencing the big wholesale customers through synthesizing sell in-out and SiP data.

  • Advisership on the sub-channel commercial policy.

Why you?

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • University Degree preferably in Economics/ Business Administration

  • Fluent in Polish

  • Knowledge of English on communicative level, min B2, allowing business conversation and negotiation

  • 5 years of experience in managing key accounts in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry

  • At least 3 years of experience of cooperation with nationwide pharmacy chains on OTC drugs

  • Experience in an international company

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and biggest pharmacy chains operation and the distribution model in Poland

  • Skilled in managing the client's P&L and implementing JBP

  • Experience in optimizing G2N and terms of cooperation

  • Knowledge of the PowerBI tool and proficient analysis of market data (IQVIA, PEX, Asseco, S4

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen

  • Negotiation/influence/communication/analytical skills

  • Proven skills to manage a high degree of complexity in a changing environment.
