Job Description

Mimecast is seeking a Senior Channel Account Manager to join their dynamic Channel Sales team. This role involves building and executing go-to-market plans with partners, driving growth by aligning with Sales Leadership and AEs, empowering partners through enablement activities, and fostering executive alignment. The manager will also be responsible for accurate forecasting, budget management, and designing joint marketing plans to enhance the partner experience and contribute to Mimecast's mission of redefining cybersecurity.
Good To Have:
  • Experience within SaaS or cybersecurity.
  • Experience with cloud solutions (SaaS preferred).
Must Have:
  • Build and execute go-to-market business plans with focus partners.
  • Align with Sales Leadership and AEs to unlock demand and deliver on shared targets.
  • Lead enablement activities, from sales training to technical workshops.
  • Create strong executive alignment with partner stakeholders.
  • Forecast accurately and hold partners accountable to agreed goals.
  • Manage budgets, design joint marketing plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • 7+ years of technology sales or channel sales experience.
  • Proven track record of managing strategic partner relationships and driving revenue.
  • Strong grasp of the partner ecosystem and competitive landscape in your region.
  • Experience building GTM strategies and running full deal cycles from qualification to close.
  • Confident communicator and influencer, comfortable engaging at all levels.
  • Organised, proactive, and a team player who thrives on accountability and results.
  • Experience with cloud solutions and a good understanding of email/network infrastructure.
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).

What You’ll Do

The OTE salary range for this position is €120,000 - €180,000+ benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for incentive plans and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
