Kubernetes Engineer (DoD Secret Eligible | Weekend Operations | Remote)

As a Kubernetes Engineer on the weekend shift, you will ensure continuous availability for Air Force Platform One and Air Mobility Command systems. This role involves maintaining 24x7x365 uptime for critical DoD systems, deploying and securing multi-cloud Kubernetes environments, and leveraging tools like Terraform, Helm, and GitOps to automate infrastructure. You will also monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, partner with senior engineers on compliance, and document procedures.

Must Have

• Maintain 24x7x365 uptime for critical DoD systems
• Deploy and secure multi-cloud Kubernetes environments
• Leverage Terraform, Helm, and GitOps to automate and scale infrastructure
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance
• Mastery of Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, and container orchestration
• Experience building secure infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Skilled in Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD
• Solid foundation in Linux and networking
