Job Description

The Laboratory Test Engineer will supervise staff to maintain the test laboratory's proper functioning and train technical staff. They will develop test profiles, maintain timely testing, review test reports, and manage the budget. They will also be responsible for direct contact with service providers and test equipment suppliers. The role involves actively participating in the Annual Physical Inventory. This role requires expertise in various areas including ISO/IEC 17025 standard, electricity, mechanics, GD&T, and knowledge in NVH. The ideal candidate should have experience in durability/functionality testing of automotive products.
Must have:
  • Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or similar degree
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standard
  • Understanding of Electricity and mechanics
  • Familiarity with GD&T
  • Knowledge in NVH
Good to have:
  • Interpretation of calibration certificates
  • Knowledge of laboratory test equipment
  • Knowledge in durability/functionality testing
  • Knowledge of SAP PM
  • Experience in Design software (AutoCAD, Solid Works)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Knowledge of ISO 8854, ISO 8856, ISO 16750
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Details

Supervise staff to perform the necessary activities to maintain the proper functioning of the test laboratory, Train technical staff on the knowledge and best practices of the laboratory. To seek and develop the necessary knowledge for new projects.

Key responsibilities

Develop test profiles.
Maintain testing in a timely manner
Review test reports
Direct contact with service providers and test equipment suppliers.
Manage budget according to plan (capital expenditure).
Actively participate in the Annual Physical Inventory.

What we’re looking for

Grade: Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
Time of experience in similar position: 3 years or more in similar position.
Technical knowledge required:
ISO /IEC 17025 standard.
Electricity and mechanics
GD&T
Knowledge in NVH.

Other requirements: 
Interpretation of calibration certificates.
Knowledge of laboratory test equipment (multimeter, experience in test profile development).
Knowledge in durability/functionality testing of automotive products.
SAP PM.
Design software (AutoCAD, Solid Works).
Willingness to travel.
ISO 8854, ISO 8856, ISO 16750.
Microsoft Office.

English Required: Conversational / Business
