Job purpose
The purpose of this position is to provide effective support in financial analysis, reporting, and control processes in cooperation with internal departments and in accordance with Group requirements. The person in this position will actively participate in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing processes, supporting business decision-making. Key tasks will also include preparing financial analyses, corporate reports, and project valuations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engagement in cooperation with finance and accounting departments and other departments or institutions.
- Cooperation with various departments in the scope resulting from the tasks performed – support in timely financial analysis, control, and reporting; analyses supporting cost control and reduction, other financial analyses, etc.
- Participation in the budgeting and forecasting process: timely preparation of necessary reports and statements, reporting data in the OneStream system in accordance with Group principles.
- Execution of tasks related to month-end financial closing (e.g., support in the month-end closing process; preparation of necessary data – e.g., reserve calculations, journal entries).
- Execution of tasks related to reporting current results (e.g., analysis of document postings, analysis of settlements with contractors; analysis of deviations between current and forecasted results, etc.).
- Execution of valuations of new business projects and updates and settlements of current ones.
- Preparation of monthly actual and forecasted data in the OneStream system, in accordance with Group requirements.
- Execution of obligations resulting from the SOX Act.
- Preparation of corporate reports required by the Group.
- Any other analyses, activities, and support, according to possessed competencies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Higher financial, accounting, or related education (master or bachelor).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company.
- General knowledge of US GAAP regulations, knowledge of accounting principles, general knowledge of finance and management of a manufacturing company, taking into account mutual influences and relationships shaping the company's results.
- Developed analytical skills.
- Ability to use supporting applications – including MS Office, SAP, and OneStream.
- Developed interpersonal skills (communication, teamwork, proactive attitude).
- Goal orientation, self-organization, effectiveness in action, problem-solving skills, decision-making skills.
- English language proficiency allowing for fluent communication (spoken and written).
