Job Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a Lead CRM Analyst to join its CRM Analytics team. This role involves leveraging diverse data sets from owned marketing channels (Website, Mobile, In-Game messaging) to apply advanced analytics techniques. The analyst will extract insights, create compelling data visualizations, and communicate recommendations to Entertainment Franchise partners to drive business impact. Must Have:
  • Select, process, and explore data from internal and third-party data sources for owned marketing channels.
  • Create presentations with crisp data visualizations to tell compelling data stories to partners.
  • Work closely with Entertainment Franchise partners to deliver data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Manage multiple projects involving complex data collection, analysis and application.
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or economics.
  • 5-7 years relevant hands-on analytical experience.
  • Knowledge of and practical experience with statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing.
  • Strong SQL skills including experience querying complex datasets from a variety of multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in R statistical programming (or equivalent) to explore diverse data sets and create descriptive and predictive models.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills for project updates and analytical storytelling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team and with other global teams.

The CRM Analytics team is looking for an analytics professional to take on the role of Senior Analyst in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, reporting to the Sr. Director of CRM Analytics. We are looking for someone who can take our analytics to a new level by digging into diverse data sets relating to our owned marketing campaigns across: Website, Mobile, and In-Game messaging, applying leading-edge data analytics techniques, extracting insights, creating data visualizations and communicating recommendations to our Entertainment Franchise partners within the CRM organization in ways that create clarity, guide action, and bring impact. Responsibilities:

  • Select, process, and explore data from an array of internal and third-party data sources for owned marketing channels such as Email, Website, and In-game messaging.
  • Create presentations with crisp data visualizations to tell compelling data stories to partners and influence the business. Distill quantitative insights into easy to digest and intuitive presentation form
  • Work closely with Entertainment Franchise partners to understand their needs and deliver data analysis to support decision-making that leads to improved business performance, ultimately becoming a trusted advisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field or economics; Advanced degrees preferred.
  • 5-7 years relevant hands-on analytical experience, with ability to manage the analytical process and translate findings from the data into recommendations for our partners. Advantage for previous marketing analytics experience.
  • Knowledge-of and practical experience with statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing.
  • Strong SQL skills including experience querying complex datasets from a variety of multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in R statistical programming (or equivalent) to explore diverse data sets and create descriptive and predictive models using methods like correlation analysis, regression modeling, cluster analysis.
  • Curious and creative, you enjoy exploring data and finding the next big opportunity.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to operationalize abstract questions into a quantitative investigation and tackle them in a data-driven manner.
  • Strong communication skills - regular project updates, communication with and across teams, and analytical “storytelling”.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team, and with other teams spread globally.
  • You have the enthusiasm and motivation to challenge thinking and promote meaningful change.
  • You view challenges as opportunities and enjoy solving problems and removing obstacles.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$160,600 - $249,300 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
