About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and consultative Lead Data Engineer with deep experience in Data Warehousing and Informatica to lead data integration initiatives for a Life Science practice within Brillio. This role is ideal for someone who not only excels technically but thrives as a thought partner to business stakeholders, helping to uncover opportunities for value creation through data.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and optimization of ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICSArchitect high-performance, scalable solutions on Snowflake Data WarehouseDesign robust data models with strong understanding of facts and dimensionsAct as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders, using data to drive insights and business outcomesPartner with line-of-business leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities where data engineering can deliver measurable valueLead a team of data engineers through complex integration efforts with a problem-solving attitudeTranslate unstructured problems into structured, scalable data solutionsDeliver high-quality business presentations and solution documentation tailored to technical and executive audiencesEnsure alignment between technical delivery and business value realizationOptimize performance through effective data modeling, partitioning, and indexing.Lead data migration and integration projects to move legacy data systems to Snowflake.Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver data solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL, with hands-on expertise in Informatica (PowerCenter and IICS)Advanced SQL skills and experience with performance tuningProven experience designing and optimizing solutions in SnowflakeStrong foundation in data warehouse design, with a focus on dimensional modelingPrior experience in pharma domain with exposure to IQVIA, Komodo, and VEEVA datasets – strongly preferredExceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skillsDemonstrated consultative mindset, capable of influencing and leading cross-functional discussions on data-driven value generationExperience writing business process and technical documentationStrong project management, organization, and team leadership skillsAbility to work in fast-paced environments with ambiguity and shifting priorities
