Yodo1 is seeking a Lead Game Product Manager to own and drive the success of top-notch mobile game projects. This role involves managing end-to-end high-quality game projects, ensuring their financial success, and leading cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is impact-focused, performance-driven, cooperative, curious, humble, and SMART, with a strong background in mobile game production and a track record of successful titles.
Must have:
  • 3+ years experience in mobile game production or publishing with successful titles
  • Strong business mindset and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Result orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams
Good to have:
  • Experience with the Chinese domestic game ecosystem
  • Fluency in Mandarin
  • Managed at least one title through the full circle
  • Availability for at least 4 hours between 10 AM and 7 PM Beijing Time (GMT+8)
  • Experience in team leadership

We are hiring a Lead Game Product Manager to manage end-to-end high-quality game projects and ensure their financial success.

What We Expect

You will:

  • Own the prospection process to identify high-potential games for publishing, leveraging market trends and data-driven insights to build a robust pipeline.
  • Join sales calls with the Business Development team to evaluate opportunities, provide product expertise, and help close publishing deals.
  • Manage the games you contribute to closing, taking full ownership of their growth by setting objectives, creating product roadmaps, and driving live-ops strategies.
  • Drive revenue and profitability objectives for your portfolio of games, ensuring long-term success for both Yodo1 and developer partners.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, artists, QA, marketing, and business development, to deliver high-quality games and meet project goals.
  • Foster collaborations with external partners, such as developers and advertising networks, to maximize the potential of published games.
  • Collaborate with other product managers to assess new business opportunities and refine publishing strategies.

You must have:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in mobile game production or publishing, or a related gaming industry role, with a track record of successful titles.
  • Strong business mindset and the ability to make decisions based on sound data analysis and careful prioritization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively with colleagues across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Result orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams

You Might have:

  • Experience with the Chinese domestic game ecosystem.
  • Fluency in Mandarin
