About You:
We’re looking for a Founding Growth member to put partnerships and outbound growth at the center of Zams’ go-to-market motion. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced startups, can prospect and close opportunities like an SDR, and is equally comfortable building long-term strategic relationships.
You’ll be the driver of how Zams expands into the world: forging partnerships, running outbound campaigns, and creating opportunities that get Zams in front of the right audiences. At the same time, you’ll support community and social initiatives that reinforce our presence, amplify our story, and strengthen our brand credibility. If you love building pipelines, growing ecosystems, and finding creative ways to accelerate traction, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
Partnerships (Top Priority)
- Build and own Zams’ partnership strategy, from identifying high-value partners to closing deals.
- Develop repeatable processes for sourcing, pitching, and nurturing partnerships.
- Cultivate relationships with creators, communities, and industry leaders that expand our reach.
- Negotiate and execute collaborations that drive measurable growth and distribution.
Outbounding (SDR-style, Supporting Partnerships)
- Run a disciplined outbound motion focused on fueling the partnerships funnel.
- Research and target prospects that align with Zams’ ICP.
- Execute campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and other channels to book meetings and generate opportunities.
- Track and optimize outbound performance to ensure a steady pipeline of new partnerships.
Community (Secondary Lever)
- Support and grow our Slack user community where customers share ideas and learn Zams best practices.
- Foster engagement through prompts, conversations, and lightweight events.
- Use community insights to strengthen outbound messaging and inform partnership opportunities.
Social & Brand (Secondary Lever)
- Maintain Zams’ presence on LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and other platforms.
- Share content that amplifies partnerships and highlights customer/community success.
- Manage follower and engagement growth to reinforce brand credibility.
Content & Execution
- Write compelling copy for outbound campaigns, partnership decks, and social posts.
- Work with freelancers/agencies (budget provided) to produce content, videos, and campaigns.
- Track and report on key metrics across partnerships, outbound, social, and community growth.
Requirements
- Proven ability to drive partnerships and outbound growth — from prospecting to closing, with a track record of sourcing and securing high-value opportunities.
- Experience running outbound campaigns that generated meetings, partnerships, or revenue opportunities.
- Strong relationship builder who can cultivate trust with partners, creators, and communities to drive distribution and visibility.
- Hands-on, self-starter attitude — you’ll be the only person running growth, so you must own and execute across outbound, partnerships, and supporting levers.
- Startup experience; comfortable moving fast, wearing multiple hats, and learning by doing.
- Secondary but valuable: experience growing social accounts with measurable engagement, building/managing communities (Slack, Discord, or similar), and creating authentic content for technical and business audiences.
- Bonus: demonstrated success with events or collaborations that created outsized brand visibility and traction.
