Role Overview:

As a Technical Lead, you will be an integral part of the Data security Group in India, developing cross-platform endpoint applications for Windows OS. To be successful in this role you should have exceptional technical skills, communication with multiple years of designing and implementing Enterprise class products along with ability to work in a team toward achieving organizational goals.
In this position, you are responsible for Performance of the application in terms, Scalability of the application, Application should be maintainable, Secure by Design, Standard and Best Practices.
Ideal candidates will foster a culture of innovation while displaying exemplary technical expertise, ownership, and commitment to delivering high quality endpoint security solutions on a variety of desktops. For you to be successful in this role, you need excellent debugging and development skills in C/C++, understanding of Windows internals and experience in building lean agents.

About the Role:

  • System analysis and design considering scalability, performance and maintainability of the product

  • Defining architectural principles and discipline for the product

  • System design for distributed applications or event driven applications is preferred 

  • Having an Endpoint development background is an added advantage.

  • Cybersecurity background would be a plus. 

  • Make sure the dev team understands and adheres to that

  • Understanding customer requirements, prototyping and participating solving customer problems

  • Enforcing standard best practices

  • Taking care of security concerns such as security best practices, vulnerability scanning, triaging as part of security development life cycle(SDLC)

  • Bringing innovation in the domain, development processes and improving security of the product

  • Review product strategy regularly with business leaders to ensure alignment with top priorities and key business initiatives. Work across teams to drive initiatives, allocate resources, and achieve joint goals.

  • Improve overall collaboration between the technology groups in different geographical locations.

  • Lead, mentor, and coach the team to grow leaders and develop a high performance organization.

  • Drive continuous improvement, leading the organization through change initiatives to deliver better and more effective performance.

About You:

  • The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of experience in Application development and Architectural principles.

  • Strong Leadership Skills.

  • Experienced at C++ application software development.

  • Knowledge of windows device drivers is an added advantage

  • Strong knowledge of Windows  operating systems.

  • Expert at designing distributed / event driven applications.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Basic knowledge about Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is preferred.
