Job Description

Blue Yonder is a leader in AI/ML-driven supply chain and retail solutions. This role involves designing, architecting, and delivering modern, secure, and AI-ready Microsoft 365 solutions, including SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Copilot Readiness. The Lead Software Engineer will implement scalable collaboration platforms, automate workflows, and enable data-driven decisions through AI. Responsibilities include integrating Copilot and Generative AI, leading custom development with SPFx and Azure, driving rebranding, monitoring adoption, and mentoring engineers to foster innovation and improve digital workplace productivity.

Must Have:
  • Architect and implement scalable, modern SharePoint Online solutions.
  • Lead migrations from on-premises or classic SharePoint to modern SharePoint Online.
  • Design and enforce M365 governance policies covering site lifecycle, naming standards, metadata taxonomy, and retention rules.
  • Architect and develop enterprise-grade Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate workflows, and AI-driven chatbots using Power Virtual Agents.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SQL, and Azure services.
  • Establish and lead the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Implement ALM, DLP, and CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps or GitHub for Power Platform.
  • Drive Copilot and AI readiness across SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook.
  • Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to align sensitivity labels, retention, and data classification for AI-safe environments.
  • Build AI-driven user experiences such as smart document generation, workflow suggestions, and knowledge summarization.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for SharePoint and Power Platform deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Define branching strategies, secure code review practices, and version control standards.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 solution architecture and development, including SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and SPFx.
  • Proven expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents, integrating with enterprise systems via REST APIs, Dataverse, and Azure services.
  • Experience leading Copilot readiness and AI integration initiatives (semantic indexing, content lifecycle design, and DLP alignment).
  • Strong understanding of M365 governance, IRM/DLP, compliance, and information architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph, PowerShell scripting, and PnP Framework.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, able to mentor developers and guide citizen developers effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, set technical direction, and influence enterprise collaboration strategy.

Scope:

  • Design, architect, and deliver end-to-end, modern, secure, and AI-ready Microsoft 365 solutions encompassing SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Copilot Readiness.
  • Lead the implementation of scalable collaboration platforms, automate business workflows, and enable data-driven decision-making through AI and automation.
  • Collaborate across business, security, and engineering teams to establish governance, compliance, and lifecycle management practices for Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Drive enterprise modernization initiatives by integrating Copilot and Generative AI capabilities into daily productivity workflows and business processes.
  • Lead custom development initiatives using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, Microsoft Graph, and Azure services to extend platform capabilities and deliver tailored business solutions.
  • Drive rebranding and user experience modernization across intranet portals and collaboration sites, ensuring consistent corporate identity, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Monitor adoption metrics, user experience, and platform health, providing continuous improvement recommendations and feedback loops.
  • Mentor engineers and business solution developers, fostering a culture of governance-aligned innovation and continuous learning.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define measurable outcomes such as improved adoption, reduced manual effort, and enhanced digital workplace productivity.

What you’ll do:

SharePoint Online

  • Architect and implement scalable, modern SharePoint Online solutions including intranet portals, custom SPFx components, and automated provisioning templates.
  • Lead migrations from on-premises or classic SharePoint to modern SharePoint Online using ShareGate / Quest Migration, SPMT, or PowerShell.
  • Design and enforce governance policies covering site lifecycle, naming standards, metadata taxonomy, and retention rules.
  • Enable advanced SharePoint capabilities such as Syntex, IRM, and DLP for secure content management and compliance.

Power Platform

  • Architect and develop enterprise-grade Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate workflows, and AI-driven chatbots using Power Virtual Agents.
  • Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SQL, and Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps) for end-to-end automation.
  • Establish and lead the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive governance, reusable components, and citizen developer enablement.
  • Implement ALM, DLP, and CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps or GitHub to ensure scalable solution delivery.
  • Develop and maintain reusable templates, connectors, and solution accelerators aligned with enterprise governance standards.

Copilot Readiness & GenAI Enablement

  • Drive Copilot and AI readiness across SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook.
  • Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to align sensitivity labels, retention, and data classification for AI-safe environments.
  • Identify and prepare high-value enterprise content for semantic indexing and Copilot integration.
  • Build AI-driven user experiences such as smart document generation, workflow suggestions, and knowledge summarization.

DevOps, Lifecycle Management & Delivery

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for SharePoint and Power Platform deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Define branching strategies, secure code review practices, and version control standards.
  • Maintain reusable templates, scripts, and accelerators to streamline solution delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of M365 solutions.

Monitoring & Optimization

  • Enable health monitoring and usage analytics through Graph API, Power Platform Admin Center, and Azure Monitor.
  • Continuously improve solution performance, adoption, and governance based on insights and roadmap updates.

What we are looking for:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 solution architecture and development, including SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and SPFx.
