Job Summary
CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Lead Technical Producer to join their team working on Project Sirius, a multiplayer game set in The Witcher universe. This role involves leading a team of Technical Producers, driving project-wide clarity and success for engineering goals and resources. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in technical game development and project management, is highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about games. This position reports to the Executive Producer.
Must Have
- Lead development and growth of technical production team.
- Cooperate with leadership and cross-functional teams for vision alignment.
- Coordinate with Lead Engineers and Lead Producers on vision and goals.
- Oversee engineering process and workflow pipelines.
- Coordinate external technical development and manage outsource resources.
- Collaborate with technical production teams across other CDP projects.
- Form and nurture cohesive, high-performing teams.
- Identify and address bottlenecks and queues.
- Advocate for actionable and beneficial improvements.
- Visualize, prioritize, and remove waste and impediments.
- Lead team growth through coaching and mentoring.
- 8+ years as a Producer in game development, managing producers.
- Experience with UE4/UE5.
- Experience with certification processes, platforms, tools, and backend systems.
- Experience in developing and shipping AAA titles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, preferably Agile.
- Experience building and growing teams.
- Deep understanding of technical limitations, pipelines, engineering best practices, CI, and DevOps.
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Proficient in a coding language.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence tools.

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Lead Technical Producer to join our team working on Project Sirius, a multiplayer game set in The Witcher universe. You’ll lead a team of Technical Producers, driving project-wide clarity and success for the engineering goals and resources for the development of the project. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in technical game development and project management, is organized and self-motivated, and is passionate about games. This role will report to the Executive Producer.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Executive Producer and Technical Director to lead development and growth of our technical production team.
- Cooperate with our leadership and cross-functional development teams, ensuring alignment with our vision and goals, with a core focus on engineering initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with Lead Engineers and Lead Producers to ensure vision and goals are clearly defined, communicated and met at all levels of the organization.
- Oversee process and workflow pipelines for the engineering team, in conjunction with Engineering Directors, ensuring Engineering team is meeting Tech Director’s standards.
- Coordinate external technical development, interfacing and managing outsource and co-development engineering resources.
- Collaborate with technical production teams across other CDP projects to coordinate technical-oriented initiatives and standards.
- Form and nurture cohesive, high-performing teams that are empowered to self-organize and achieve outstanding results.
- Identify and address bottlenecks and queues, fostering incremental delivery with frequent integration.
- Advocate for actionable and beneficial improvements, challenging the status quo with bravery and innovation.
- Visualize, prioritize, and systematically remove waste and impediments, encouraging teams to own and solve their own challenges.
- Lead the growth of our teams in both size and quality through dedicated coaching and mentoring, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications
- At least 8+ years of experience as a Producer in game development, with a proven track record of leading successful projects and managing producers.
- Experience with UE4/UE5
- Experience with certification processes, platforms, tools, and backend systems
- Experience in the development and shipping of AAA titles, showcasing the ability to manage large-scale projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams, preferably in an Agile environment.
- Experience building and growing teams
- Deep understanding of the technical limitations and pipelines in the game development process, technical engineering best practices (such as test-driven development), continuous integration, and DevOps.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a positive and constructive attitude.
Nice to have:
- Proficient in a coding language
- Familiarity of Jira and Confluence tools
