Leader software engineer

The Agentic AI team at Cadence is seeking a Leader Software Engineer to contribute to building a scalable and resilient data analytics/AI platform. The role involves working with LLM/ML/big data technologies, container deployment, microservice architectures, and translating requirements into detailed architectures. The engineer will need to possess strong architectural design and performance tuning skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. Proficiency in Python, C++, and SQL is required. The candidate should be enthusiastic, highly motivated, and capable of collaborative work. The role requires a BS degree with 5+ years of industry experience or an MS degree with 3+ years of industry experience. This role is about solving complex challenges.

Must Have

• Experience with LLM/ML/big data technologies.
• Experience with container and microservice architectures.
• Ability to translate requirements into architectures.
• Solid experience in architecture design and performance tuning.
• In-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Development experience in Python and C++.
• Solid understanding of database fundamentals with proficiency in SQL.

We are looking for an LLM/ML ops/developer who will be a key contributor in building a scalable and resilient data analytics/AI platform. 

Key Qualifications

• Experience running and working with LLM/ML/big data, such as Langchain, NIM, Spark, etc.
• Experience working with and deploying containers and other microservice architectures
• Able to translate requirements into both high-level and detailed architectures
• Solid experience about architecture design, performance tuning
• In-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Development experience in Python, C++
• Solid understanding of database fundamentals, with high proficiency in SQL
• Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and able to work collaboratively
• In-depth understanding of various technologies and frameworks with ability to combine into practical solutions

Education & Experience 

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field, 5+ years of industry experience
• MS degree in Computer Science or related field, 3+ years of industry experience
