Legal Officer - Senior

We are looking for a proactive and creative legal professional with experience or a strong interest in the iGaming industry to join our team in the role of Legal & Compliance Officer. This position lies at the intersection of regulatory compliance and legal operations within the dynamic world of iGaming.

Purpose of the role:

The Senior Legal Officer will be a key member of our iGaming team, responsible for driving day-to-day legal operations and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The role combines hands-on legal expertise with people management, including leading a small team and partnering closely with internal stakeholders. This position is designed with a clear growth path toward a Deputy Head of Legal role, offering the opportunity to take on broader leadership responsibilities as the company continues to expand.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of legal entity setup, oversee their ongoing management, and ensure compliance across various jurisdictions.
• Lead and coordinate licensing applications with relevant regulatory bodies in the iGaming sector.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate intra-company and external contracts, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and industry standards.
• Participate in the establishment and improvement of B2B compliance processes, including client Due Diligence (DD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, ensuring all operational activities meet regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to monitor and verify client documentation and compliance status.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including AML, finance, and operations to provide legal guidance and mitigate risks.
• Monitor changes in iGaming laws and regulations to keep the company’s practices up-to-date.
• Support management with legal advice on corporate governance, contracts, and risk management.

Required Experience:
